Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
The Marquise is a slender woman with hardly any muscle. She is lean from her days as a pirate which allows her flexibility, speed, and accuracy in her movements. Strength comes naturally to her as a highblood troll from Alternia. She measures 5'7" in height, her horns about 7-8 inches long and they curve slightly.

2. How old is she?
Unknown but my best guess is 150 sweeps or 200 years.

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
Mindfang carries herself with pride. She has an erect posture.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Her health, for now, is in tip-top condition. She is taken before her arm is severed off and before age has had a chance to weaken her.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Her movements are fluid, but not graceful. She's precise about how she orients her body to someone else's out of self defense. Being conscious of space allows her the proper edge when fighting with swords.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?
I would say she is pretty damn attractive. Probably an 8 out of 10. In canon it is stated that she is a very sought after Blackmate. As this is a pailing quadrant I would imagine that her looks do play into this as well as her ability to dish out black affection.

Mindfang is aware of this and uses it to her advantage. Whatever will gain her the upper hand is something she can use as a form of manipulation. She's pretty shameless about this.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Most trolls her grey skin, and her's has a very subtle hint of blue. Her lips, blood, privates, and tears all have the same Cerulean blue color. There are very few scars that are visible when she has on clothes but there are some traces of wounds across the stomach and chest area.

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
She has thick, wavy textured hair. I would imagine that its closest counterpart would be latin or hispanic type hair. It reaches pretty much all the way down to midback. She prefers the windswept look of her hair because it reminds her of sailing.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Her horns are another prominent feature. They're quite tall at 7-8 inches from the top of her skull and they're solid bone. Breaking these will hurt and that being said they are very hard to break.

11. What are her chief tension centers?
Most likely the shoulders, arms, and lower back. It should go without saying that she has strong core muscles but I can't imagine they'd be under much stress unless she's in a very difficult situation.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
From canon, This.. And in general she has a few casual outfits from earth. She's very fond of jeans, corsets, and off the shoulder blouses. She tends to have a casual yet classy appearance. I would imagine her wardrobe is full of blues, blacks, reds, greys, whites, and some purple.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?
They fit well and they allow for express movement. She'd never wear something that limited her fighting ability unless its a night out. Some outfits are more comfortable than others, and I can imagine she'll be very fond of shorts here very soon since arriving in the desert.

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?
She'll dress a bit more piratey, or sexy for her job. She's (hopefully) going to be working at World's End where she will be bartending.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxer briefs because I fight the system.



Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
This is the voice I use for her and here are a few reasons why. Cat-woman touches on every bit of her personality. She's cunning, she manipulative, and she gets what she wants. I think this is a good voice canon for her for that reason. It's not too sexy but also not too casual.



2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate?
She speaks pretty evenly and normally when in casual conversation. She never hesitates when it counts.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
This isn't necessarily a distinct accent, but she's very proper. Mindfang chooses what say very carefully but that doesn't translate in her speech pattern. What she says, and how she says it comes out easily.

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency?
Obviously she speaks Alternian fluently.

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
No, not that I can think of.

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words?
Like I said, she's thinks about what she has to say but her reactions are quick.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Very, very eloquent and can sometimes be hard to follow.



Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart?
She's very intelligent, but of course there are things she doesn't know about. Street smart would be most of her knowledge though she does have quite a bit of book-smart in her. She's a pirate so the street smart comes in handy more often.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate?
She thinks on her feet, and she's always several steps ahead of what's happening. After all, planning is what makes a mission successful.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
She's intuitive. Mindfang tends to go off of what she can observe with her natural ability as an empath. Emotions are the keys to how she treats another person. It can determine how abrasive her one is, or how soft and delicate it is. She tends to lean toward practicality but has a vested sense of idealism.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
Hm, I'm not quite sure. Alternian trolls grow up very differently and its hard to say when something like that hasn't been stated in canon.

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about?
She's an excellent swordsman. Give her any type of blade and she'll know how to use it. She's always been interested in knowing the unknowable. The all seeing cue ball is what led to her demise because she thirsts for knowledge too readily and delves too deeply for her own good.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert?
Extrovert.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Mindfang has a tendency toward mood swings. Though, when she is being herself she's very laid-back. When trying to accomplish a goal you won't find anyone more driven.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
That's very careful. She knows what her reputation is, and that's why she isn't very detailed when talking about specifics of her life. Though, usually, she's quite friendly. It allows her to have connections and make nice when she needs to.

She's more likely to react.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight?
Fight.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Sarcasm is her second language.

She fears fate. It's a very touchy subject with her.

Rivals = Dualscar. After all he is her blackmate. And she's got plenty of enemies. She's a pirate.

She would be considered Pansexual. Trolls don't really have a concept of orientation.

She loves it and its not important in the way it should be. Like in the case of love.

She's a scorpio.

No, she's not religious. There's not really a reason to be on Alternia.

She does have a moral code when it comes to bloodshed. Otherwise, it's pretty much free reign.

She often doesn't understand why people would want to live a different life from hers. The nature of these differences are just things she has yet to experience.

5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them?
She's a highblood troll so she naturally strays away from anyone lower on the hemospectrum than she is. Though this is a facade. She doesn't see a use for the system other than for manipulating others into doing her bidding.


Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
She's comfortable. There are riches in piracy but only ever so often and its split between her and the crew.

2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her?
Her social status is. . .debatable. Adult trolls are meant to leave and take over other planets but she rebels against that and the system in general by become rouge. It's affected how she views the hemospectrum, bringing a more positive light to lowbloods because she really couldn't care less. Her crew is made up of many. All useful, and all worthy of her time but she won't voice this opinion openly.

3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others?
Right now she lives in the Casualty Communal. It's pretty okay for a studio apartment.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on?
If she doesn't have a hat, that's first priority. Other than that, she spends it on essentials and trinkets that she finds fascinating.

5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else?
In soul campaign she hasn't found a niche again yet.

6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time?
She's fond of journaling, star-gazing, occult practices that deal with divination, and she's fond of the City Park currently.

7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
She eats healthy, and regularly. She does drink alcohol but not very often. Mindfang particularly loves spicy food and hates any type of shellfish.
